🍽️Cheap Eats ($20 or Less)

Lanner Noodles & Bar

Time from Warehouse: 10 minute walk

Hand made noodles and other assorted Asian food served in a casual dining setting. We recommend the braised beef noodles and golden chicken nuggets.

Noah’s Kitchen

Time from Warehouse: 30 minutes by T

Relaxing Chinese eatery with homemade noodles and fish dishes. We recommend the vegetarian dan dan noodles.

PURO Ceviche Bar

Time from Warehouse: 30 minute walk

Located on Newbury Street, this is my personal go to food spot when I am already on that side of the Charles. As its name would suggest, this restaurant specialized in ceviche, which is fish marinated in citrus and other seasonings. We recommend the octopus ceviche!

Dakzen

Time from Warehouse: 30 minutes by T

Located in Davis Square, this Thai restaurant specializes in Thai street food. They’re also on Uber Eats which makes for delicious meals while you’re hard at work. We recommend the boat noodles and the Khao Moo Dang.

Redbones

Time from Warehouse: 30 minutes by T

Also in Davis Square, this is our go to American BBQ place in the city. Everything is worth ordering, but we particularly recommend the pulled pork sandwich meal with collard greens and baked beans! Pro tip: If you would prefer a faster dining experience, their downstairs area (open on the weekends) lets you order on your phone and is not reliant on table service.

What A Soup

Time from Warehouse: 15 minute walk

Located in Central Square, this is another great spot to grab noodle soups. We particularly recommend the Beef Boat Noodle Soup.

Pho Basil

Time from Warehouse: 30 minute walk

Located on the Boston side of Mass Ave, this is a great place for a quick pho craving. We recommend the Dac Biet.

Mae Asian Eatery

Time from Warehouse: 10 minute walk

A super lowkey option for a variety of Asian food located not far from campus. We recommend their drunken noodles and pad thai! If you like alcoholic drinks, their Thai “Tea”Ki is a great take on the traditional Thai tea.

🍽️ Every Once In A While ($20 to $40)

Jahunger

Time from Warehouse: 10 minute walk

Located just down the street from Warehouse, this Uyghur restaurant has some super tasty (yet affordable) food. We recommend the Jahunger noodles and the kevap (lamb kebabs).

Mulan

Time from Warehouse: 15 minute walk

Dim sum style Taiwanese food. Bring a friend (or two) to share dishes and explore this amazing menu. We recommend the pineapple shrimp, Mulan fish, and orange chicken.

Penang

Time: from Warehouse: 30 minutes by T

Located in Chinatown, this is a go to spot for Malaysian food. We particularly recommend the beef rendang and Asam Ikan Bilis. The portions are large, so make sure to bring friends so you can try everything! Pro tip: order a side of the chicken-flavored rice to accompany your main course.

Ma Maison

Time from Warehouse: 20 minutes by T

A cozy French bistro that serves a variety of French classics. The location itself feels like your are eating in someone’s dining room. We recommend the beef bourguignon!

Petit Robert Bistro

Time from Warehouse: 30 minutes by T

Owned by the same chef as Ma Maison, this French restaurant mimics a Parisian-style bistro. We recommend the escargot and calf liver.

Pammy’s

Time from Warehouse: 20 minute walk

A small plate Italian Restaurant, which is great because you can try many dishes or share with others. Despite being on Mass Ave, it retains the feeling of being homey, reminding you of eating in someone’s house or a small neighborhood restaurant.

🍽️ Treat Yourself (Over $40)

Gopchang Story

Time from Warehouse: 30 minute walk

Located near the BU campus, this Korean BBQ restaurant specializes in Gopchang, which is beef intestine. While certainly not for everyone, it’s worth trying at least once in your life. They also have normal KBBQ as well. We recommend the Assorted GUI (intestine platter) for the adventurous and griddled kimchi pork belly for a more traditional KBBQ experience. The beef tartare also makes an excellent appetizer!

Hungry Pot

Time from Warehouse: 30 minute drive

While not exactly accessible to everyone, this restaurant is well worth the trek. For just $45, you get two hours of all you can eat Korean BBQ and Hotpot!

Little Donkey

Time from Warehouse: 10 minute walk

Located in Central Square, this tapas restaurant is a staple because of its nice ambience and international plates. We recommend the BLT lettuce wraps and the tuna tartare!

The Beehive

Time from Warehouse: 30 minutes by T

This underground restaurant has good live music with pub-like food. We recommend their burgers!

Alden and Harlow

Time from Warehouse: 20 minutes by T

A modern American fine dining restaurant located in Harvard Square. This is a great place for brunch, and we recommend their duck confit pierogi and the fried brussel sprouts
